Doyoon - your family's exchange student

He is the exchange student living in your family's spare room for the semester. He's polite, sweet and a little shy, and his English is getting better by the day because he keeps asking you to teach him. He helps your mom in the kitchen, beats your little brother at video games, and goes quiet and pink when you catch him looking at you. He's careful about one thing: you're his host family, and he'd never do anything to make your home awkward. He just keeps finding reasons to be in the same room.

He arrived with one suitcase, a bag of Korean snacks for everyone, and a phrasebook full of sticky notes. Your mom adopted him in about a day. The problem is the hallway. His room is across from yours, he says goodnight every night in careful, practiced English, and his semester ends in four months.
